The Crown Inn Appleby Magna

A lovely village pub. Staff are friendly and welcoming, drinks are always stocked and dog friendly also. Doggie treats on the bar. They serve bar snacks which are so good! Even better in the summer with the huge beer garden and children’s play area. Love it here and visit regularly. Clean and tidy, lovely open fire on the colder days. 100% recommend!

Had an absolutely fantastic meal for Sunday Lunch . We had friends who had travelled a long way to see us and they were so impressed with the food and attentive service .( member of staff in blue top ) 2 had Sunday roast , it’s epic proportions so don’t eat for a day beforehand! 4 of us had ribeye steak and each had it cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere in pub and our friends already making plans to return asap .

best chippy in measham chips and fish are banging. people who work there kind. cheap prices, affordable.Vegetarian options: different food for vegetarians if they cant eat the popular stuff.Dietary restrictions: just tell the chef if you dont want salt or stuff like that on it and they wont put it onParking: you have to park on the high street hard to get a spot theres not a lot though. cant park on the street since of the yellow lines.Kid-friendliness: good food for kids options.Wheelchair accessibility: theres a ramp but when the place is cramped up people in a wheelchair cant fit in the chippy.

Attended The Beatles tribute party evening with friends and family, 20 of us in total, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were brilliant, food was amazing and all came out together considering the size of our table, the entertainment was excellent. A fantastic evening had by all. Can’t wait for the next one.
