At last I found a pub with a real Menu, Not the stereo typical pre made ready wrapped garbage, that all the main chains are using. As with fresh made food there is a wait time, very understandable, You only get what you pay for and boy it was worth the wait, Just the fact that there was a choice on the menu for me was amazing, I eat out a lot and only ever order 3 starters as my main meal. We booked a table.We could tell it had been busy, lots of people were leaving after their Sunday lunch.Extensive menu. Roast dinner available I think until 20.00 on Sunday.Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff.Pleased we called in.

We have dined here many times. The service and food is always excellent and the pies are a must. Would normally give 5 stars but on our last visit earlier this month the pub was rather cold, too cold as to be uncomfortable. I appreciate businesses are trying to keep costs down especially fuel but if you are entertaining the public it should be warm enough to dine in comfort.
