We visited yesterday for a late lunch after arriving at our Airbnb nearby. The pub had such a lovely feel to it immediately. The landlord who greeted us was very friendly and we had a good chat about their produce. A lot of it is locally grown and freshly harvested. We'd been meaning to try this pub for months and were not disappointed. They have very good interesting home-cooked food, an excellent choice of local beers and a friendly landlord. We will definitely be visiting again!

Always love the service and atmosphere in here. Not a chain. Well chosen beers pumped from a proper beer cellar and an excellent menu of food that's cooked to order and there's something good for everyone whether you like meat, fully vegan or something in between.
