We dined here one Saturday evening recently. We were very impressed with the restaurant design and layout it was very cosy……and busy. Clearly very popular. Food is excellent staff are friendly and helpful. However if the Sun wants to continue charging premium prices it needs to consider overall dining experience - the garden needs a lot of tlc and the toilets are in serious need of refurbishing (tiles grout and sinks all need replacing)
This was our third fairly recent visit, a very last minute booking but they managed to accommodate us despite being fairly busy. What really sets this place apart are the high standards of service and a really strong menu. There is also a separate pizza kitchen with a wood fired oven but they allow the diners to pick from both menus and keep it well aligned.
