A lovely village pub. Staff are friendly and welcoming, drinks are always stocked and dog friendly also. Doggie treats on the bar. They serve bar snacks which are so good! Even better in the summer with the huge beer garden and children’s play area. Love it here and visit regularly. Clean and tidy, lovely open fire on the colder days. 100% recommend!

We visited for first time last night to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday the food is amazing and the staff were absolutely amazing made the celebration special we really enjoyed it and we can’t thank them enough. Can’t believe we have not found this place before we will definitely be returning fantastic atmosphere, staff and food what more can you want and lovely surroundings too 10/10 in-fact 11/10

Only five stars! The cod and chips were first class and cooked fresh to order. He was so obliging and caring about how he cooked it. Haven’t had cod and chips like that since the 70s! Only five stars? I’d have given him six or more if I could. He’s just wiped out every other favourite chippie.
