I enjoy evenings at Ashby Lodge with a group of friends. Adam the manager is always polite and welcoming. The whole atmosphere of the pub is relaxing. Adam & his staff do a brilliant job and I can't praise them enough for making our evening so enjoyable especially after a tiring working week.
Stopped for something to eat while passing.I've been let down with the quality of the carvery in the past, so ordered from the menu. The food was OK as pub grub goes. But I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there.

Boxing day lunch. Seasonal nachos, not impressed, however, rump steak, pigs in blankets with bread roll filled with camembert fondue was honestly the best meal I've ever had here. Absolutely fantastic ? Cherry crumble good too.
