The food is amazing they do chilli mince loaded fries they r the best ever we take our dog for i lovely walk in royden park which is in frankby other side of the wirral but always head here on way home amazing

Yiamas Greek Taverna

Me and my wife had an amazing meal here, with the best grilled fish we have had in the UK. All of the appetisers, salads and desserts were fabulous too, and above all the staff was incredible and made sure we had a great experience.
Definitely recommend. Andy and the other staff were fantastic!!

Khans

Great food, great prices, staff are really friendly and it is always service with a smile. We enjoy every bit of our food when we go as we are regulars.

They have an offer on every Wednesday Thursday and Sunday.

The only people missing out are the ones that don't go and give them a go! Great value couldn't recommend enough.

Anchor Inn Wirral

Libby was our waitress today, she was friendly helpful and professional. She made our evening meal for us perfect. The food was exceptional main course and dessert were delicious. All the staff are friendly a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. We have visited on other occasions and will certainly be going again. Thank you to all the staff.

Arrowe Park

Yesterday i payed an enjoyable visit to the lovely Arrowe Park Pub. The food was cooked spectacularly, the service was flawless by the lovely staff and the atmosphere was magnificent! I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone who needs a tasty meal!

Wimpy

What a warm welcome I've been meaning to visit Wimpy but finding one is so hard. I was in Birkenhead today so could resist a visit to see if it was how I remembered.

I was greeted by a proper gentleman who went over the options on the menu but I already knew I wanted the 1/4 pounder with cheese salad onions and wimpy sauce ona white bun with a strawberry thick shake topped with whipped cream.

I wasn't disappointed burger was juicy salad crisp bun fresh, milk shake cold thick creamy and delicious.

Keep up the good work and people of Birkenhead take the kids and the grandkids keep this traditional milk bar going you've got something very special

Popped in for a quick bite between house viewings. Good choice of authentic Italian food, and small plates. Great service and thank you Jordan for the quick and friendly service.

The Merebrook

As a veggie it made a change to have something that isn't pasta, I had the vegan sticky ribs which was delicious and the other people with me enjoyed their meals. Lady behind the bar was a bit miserable but we thoroughly enjoyed the visit, will definitely go again.

Farmers Arms

Friendly workers, plenty of sport on TV, but most importantly, there's plenty of options on the menu, but happened in the last 3 years with the menu, how come you lowered the options on the classics.

Chickn Hut Birkenhead

I've never had a bad meal, been ordering regularly from here and it's always what I order still fresh and hot after delivery, exactly what you would want. If you like red salt on your chips aswell you couldn't do better.

Forked Up Vegan Kitchen Ltd

That was beautiful food. I had The Oriental Box with Katsu curry Bao bun. The bao bun was one of the nicest things I have ever eaten. As good as Paris or London.

NOYA Mediterranean Restaurant

Visited on 4/8/25 first time, celebrating my 50th birthday with my friend . Food was amazing, lovely friendly staff . Nothing was to much trouble . A candle was put in my desert as well as singing to me. A cocktail for us on the house . When service is this good we will definitely recommend and be returning very soon.

I've been a regular customer at Zeera's in Irby for years, enjoying both dine-in meals and takeaways, and they have never once disappointed. The food is consistently amazing, and the staff are always incredibly friendly and attentive. It's rare to find a restaurant that maintains such high standards over the long term. Zeera's is a true gem, and I can't recommend it enough.

I had my gender reveal here on sunday and nothing was to much trouble for Jess she went above and beyond to make sure myself, my husband and our kids had the best time I have recieved so much positive feedback from guests and theres no were else I would rather host future events. I also spent time here while my car was being fixed 10 min walk away. Great baked beans, toast, eggs bacon and coffee. Friendly service & if the weather is good you can sit outside in the shade & watch the neighbourhood pass by.

Small family meal to celibrate my nephews 18th birthday. from start to finish, the staff were freindly and chearful. The food was well presented, served hot, and tasted delicious, with minimal waiting time. 5☆

One of my old locals, I come back every now and again when visiting my mum, and whenever I go to Tranmere games, can't fault the staff, even when it's busy they serve as quickly as possible. Can't fault the food at all, lovely!

Bromborough

We stayed at Village Hotel at the Wirral August Bank Holiday 23. We received great service in Housekeeping especially from “Hakam - H” … reported broken iron board and needed fresh towels and within 10 minutes everything sorted lovely. We only had breakfast on the Sunday but member of staff Jackie was very welcoming great smile lots of banter and so happy. The restaurant was very busy but still made sure everybody was ok and always a lovely smile. Early departure Bank Holiday Monday and before we left we went into restaurant where breakfast is served to say goodbye. Once again can’t fault her lovely character, happy and smiling. More staff like this are needed and the Village won’t to thank them for being such great members of the Team …

After watching a review online we decided to give the Wednesday banquette a go and wasn’t disappointed! The food was amazing , maybe the best curry I’ve had in a while (luhari karahi) it was fresh , the naan bread must be made to order as it was piping hot and crispy , not heavy at all ! You can bring your own alcohol but the red wine was less than £10 a bottle! Great value for money Will definitely be coming back !

After more than 16 years of dining at Wirral Tandoori with a close group of friends, I can honestly say this place has never once let us down. The food is consistently excellent – full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and always served piping hot. The menu offers a fantastic variety, from the classics to house specialties, and everything we've tried over the years has been top-notch.

What really makes this place special though is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to care that you're enjoying your visit. It's clear they take pride in what they do.

For us, Wirral Tandoori isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a tradition, a place where great food and even better memories are made. If you haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommended!

New Oriental Stir Fry

Excellent, food always feels fresh and very tasty. We rarely eat takeaways but when we do, and fancy Chinese food, this is a sure option for us. We had our meal tonight after a long journey home and it was great, Thank you!

I ordered and paid for the food online and picked up in the shop. Food was excellent, service was good and very friendly. This place has very convenient opening hours. Kebab portion sizes are generous. I didn't order pizza, so can't comment on them.

I have gone to Captain Tony’s, regularly for years. Their pizza is my favourite by far.
Massive problem is their fries. They are very inconsistent in quality. Sometimes they are exceptional, but other times they are awful.
I ask now for them to make them crispy, but the last 3 times I’ve ordered them, I’ve had to throw them in the bin. They were disgusting. Sloppy and undercooked. Does your chips chef not try their food before giving it to us paying customers?
I hate to do awful reviews, especially when I love their pizza, but the fries are just as important and at over £3 a portion, I’m fed up, even asking hasn’t improved their quality. How can you get it so wrong??

I play for the sea dog ladies darts team. We have a large room with no TV or snooker table in it... The service at the bar is top notch. What's not to like.

Im a regular here (at least once a month) never had bad food, always hot and fresh. They got my order wrong once but it was quickly rectified. Anyway, im writing a review today because I have just had the most fresh and delicious pizza ever! Made exactly how I wanted and delivered within half an hour, with hot fresh crispy red salt fries (my fave). My kids had chicken popcorn/strips and fries, they love ranchers food but their favourite is the cheesy garlic bread which is free with orders over £20. Highly recommend ? also order through the website not just eat as its cheaper!

We came here as a group of 13 and had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service from the staff was excellent. We’d be happy to come back again!

Food beautiful as allways I go there often but staff are quite rude. I rang an order through he was taking my order then took some fellas order from the shop left me waiting bout 4 minutes and they constantly hassle you for cash only I get that I allways try to pay by cash but they send you the cash machine when they has card machine.

Me and my partner came by for coffees after a lovely day shopping and was served by a super lovely woman called Cody, her customer service skills were 10/10 super polite chatty and cheerful and checked in with us that everything was ok, an absolute asset to your company

King Wah Restaurant

Absolutely lovely meal.

We shared a few starters and a main meal and it was great. The portions were really big, the quality was amazing. It was very early and at first we were the only ones, but it soon filled up. We will definitely be going back.

Papa Pizza

I always go here. Staff are always friendly, all the food is good and they’re open late. Papa Pizza is the only thing holding birko together at this point, they are heroes.

Ruhi Balti House

The food served was absolutely stunning, from the starters to the main course. Amazing. The service is excellent. All the staff are really friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean. The toilets are spotless. Really nice and enjoyable place to eat. Once we paid we got some free chocolates and a free shot of baileys each. Highly recommend.

Golden Park Chinese Restaurant

Such good value for money left with full and satisfied bellies! We were served by a lovely girl called Amy - she was so cheerful and really lifted our spirits in the new year! 10/10 recommendation.

Some love working in Hospitality others don't, seems that way here. A means to an end. More smiles & enthusiasm needed. Delicious as always as made as you like but floor seating needs a good overhaul, replaced, sanitised & cleaned regularly & properly. A popular busy place so why is there no investment to pretty it up & have someone bus the tables, toilets & floor throughout service ? This site could be so much more..American subways are impeccable in service & seating their customers.

Love going with my kids and i dont mind the wait but the language on the staff is very very rude even though its not to me and they are talking to other staff they shouldn't be using language like that around multiple children especially shouting it

Really wonderful cafe. I would definitely visit again & recommended to others. The servers were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The iced coffee was delicious as well as panini chips and chamomile tea. Great vegan options on the menu. Really good value for money & the ideal atmosphere.

Phenomenal Salt and Pepper Chicken when John cooks - got a way with the wok. Decent grub for cheaper than chips and just as excellent. Lovely evening finished with a lovely meal!

Quirky rock club on an industrial estate in Birkenhead. Great atmosphere with some fantastic tribute bands on almost a weekly basis. Great choice of beers and hot food available.

I have visited Nemesis on a number of occasions now and have never been disappointed. The menu is very varied and the food is always extremely tasty and good quality.Staff are very attentive and polite Nothing is ever too much trouble .We will certainly be regular visitors to your cafe

Basic rooms but very clean. Stayed two nights and ate dinner first night. Large choice on the menu and pub very busy for mid week. A 10 minute walk to metro and into liverpool. Ideal for us.

I just bought a Mini fish dinner, I have never been able to eat all of my meals but I did with this one, it was gorgeous, fish cooked really nice, mushy peas tasted gorgeous and the chips (my hardest normally to finish) were absolutely lovely too with added crispy ones my fave! Definitely go back.

A group of us come here once a month for a night out as we love the vicar who djs, always plays great tunes and there's always a good atmosphere! Bar staff are really friendly and the drinks are super cheap (pound shots and 4.50 doubles!) Only thing is its cash only, the nearest cash machine is only a few minutes walk away so not much of an issue but just to be aware if thinking of visiting.

The River View Pub

A surprising find in Birkenhead and not far from first stop by bus or metro from Liverpool to Birkenhead. Drink prices are reasonable. We had Sunday roast here, and that was very delicious. Choice of beef, lamb or chicken. The dinner comes with toasties, carrot, mushy peas (sort of), cauliflower, broccoli and a Yorkshire pudding. Two sizes available, small or large.

Had @No32 for my Dad’s funeral on Friday. Everything about it was spot on from our initial chat with Nat to the presentation and quality of the food. The extra touches of having staff there to serve the hot food and keep it all looking good was brilliant. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks again to Nat and her staff. Would highly recommend and will use again.

Few pubs have survived the wholesale ransacking of Birkenhead but this little beauty of a pub has managed it. Whenever I crave a good pint of Guinness I make a beeline for this backstreet gem. There are very few establishments that can offer comfort, kindness and good cheer as well as a Guinness and a double Tullamore Dew for less than £8!
