We paid our first visit here today, and had booked their set Christmas menu. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and wine. The food was plentiful and delicious. We were not rushed in any way, the service was good, and the staff were very friendly. We would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Had a weekend away at the Old Hall and whilst there we had 2 breakfasts, an evening meal and afternoon tea at Barfords. All were absolutely wonderful. Food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were fantastic and so friendly. The afternoon tea was amazing and such good value. We have already made plans to return. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We stayed in the hotel as a group of 5 and whilst there had one evening meal, 2 breakfasts and an afternoon tea in this restaurant. Everything about it was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful. There were plenty of choices for breakfast which was a refreshing change. The evening meal was piping hot and very filling. The afternoon tea was amazing and such good value. The whole time the staff were very attentive, helpful and very cheerful and really made it feel homely....read full review
