First time we've visited the Wig & Pen. Amazing food with great service. Reasonably priced and good range of beers. Highly recommend their Sunday roast. We had roast beef and roast chicken and it was excellent. Also recommend their steak n' ale pie with veg. Superb! Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic!! Amazing!!! Brilliant place, the food was outstanding and the service was second to none. The staff could not do enough to help us tonight, the food portions were fantastic. We had to ask for a take away box for the chilli nachos as the portion size was amazing. Thank you for an amazing night guys. Just 200m from my hotel, The Maids Head, this glorious old style and unspoiled English Pub has the best service both for drinks and food. Coming from Oz I needed proper bitter, not todays styles which I refer to as fizzy lemonade. The ? were excellent. Thank you. We ate while enjoying the RWC ? on the TV. The food was superb, England’s performance against Samoa less so! Thank you. A great experience
