7 Silver St, Masham, RiponHad an amazing experience here, the service is by far the best I’ve had in a very long time. John and Nicole were exceptional as was the food. (To die for). Such great value for money too. The chef John also came over to say hi which was a very nice touch. If I am ever in the area again I will certainly return! Thank you for an unforgettable experience the Johns and Nicole!

Best place to go and the ladies there are always some welcoming and friendly! Please do give it a try - you will not be disappointed!

Roomer Ln, Swinton, RiponThank you for a lovely stay. It wasn’t quite the stay we had planned, but no one could have predicted the weather on Saturday 23rd Nov 2024. Fabulous service from all staff, in the hotel. The Terrace Restaurant is warm and Nikolai (sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong) made us feel most welcome, as did all his Team. The food was fabulous we particularly enjoyed the Estate Game Sharer. Hoping to visit again in the future. Fi and Mark Simpson

Kings Head Hotel
Market Pl, Masham, RiponStayed at the Kings Head Hotel for four nights while working.
I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have had. From the warm introduction at check-in to the room to the food....everything was spot on.
Breakfast you were welcomed by Gaye and Chris who were perfect hosts. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Room was warm, comfortable, plenty of hot water and so may additional extras. The fresh milk from the bar in your own mini milk urn was a lovely touch. Evening meals were plentiful, well prepared with specials every week. I enjoy homecooked style meals rather than hoity toity fare so it was perfect.
A great experience that I intend to do again.
Thanks to all the staff at the Kings Head for making my stay perfect.

Brymor Ice Cream
High Jervaulx Farm, Jervaulx, MashamWhat an amazing place to visit. Free parking, a shop, a children’s play area, picnic benches and marked walks.
Add to that a lovely pets corner with some wonderfully named rabbits, donkeys, Pygmy goats, donkeys and some rather unusual sheep. Finally there is an open cow shed where you can see the animals whose milk is used to make this truly delicious ice cream. Thoroughly recommend.

The White Bear
The White Bear, Gun Bank, Masham, RiponWe live locally and we were here for a meeting, it was in the Old Bottle Store just opposite the entrance. Great room for functions etc. popped in for lunch afterwards, all food. Staff and Management are lovely and very helpful.

Queens Head
Main St, Kirkby Malzeard, RiponBooked in today for Sunday lunch after a long wet walk.
Greated by the owers in a very friendly and welcoming manor who didn't mind the muddy boots and wet dogs.
Food was amazing! Fantastic service. Plenty of lovely meat, vegetables of all types and literally boats loads of gravy.
What a great find and will be back.

10 Swinton Rd, Swinton, RiponWe had a wonderful Easter Sunday Jazz Lunch today. The dining room is beautiful. We had scallops and parsnip velouté for starters and the roast with all the traditional trimmings (esp. veggies and the Yorkshire pudding were very tasty), finishing off with a delicious crème brulée. Staff was very attentive and friendly.
