GRANTLEY HALL, RiponWe absolutely love Grantley Hall, the service is always amazing from the second you arrive at the gate. The level of detail throughout the whole place is 10/10 the grounds are stunning and lovely to have a walk around before drinks, or between courses.
There is always plenty of staff to show you around. I love going for lunch in the Orchard restaurant, the staff are always so attentive but in a lovely informal and respectful way, I absolutely love how passionate all the staff are about the hotel and the amenities, they really can’t do enough for you.
I have never stayed as we live close by, so can’t rate that part of the hotel but a regular visitor we are never disappointed .
The food is fresh and ingredients exceptional quality, it’s not cheap but you do walk away content that you got what you paid for - which I always think is a really important part of paying for a meal.
Great work Grantley, keep it up!

Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall
GRANTLEY HALL, RiponMy husband and I had the pleasure of dining here and it was fabulous, the surroundings were elegant but not stuffy, every course was excellent, the service attentive without being overbearing and the staff were very friendly. Oliver looked after my husbands single malt selections, Bertie and Seth were our excellent waiters. Rebecca remembered my husband from a couple of weeks ago when we were in the hotel for drinks and Monica arranged a visit to the kitchen for us, Elliot and the brigade were doing an amazing job in Shauns absence and were not at all fazed by guests in the kitchen in the middle of service, they never missed a beat.
Can't wait to eat here again. Thanks to all.

Grantley Hall, RiponWe celebrated our wedding anniversary at 88 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our waiter, Hector, was absolutely out of this world – both my husband and I agreed he was hands down the best waiter we’ve ever had. He was attentive, warm, and extremely knowledgeable, he made the whole evening feel so special. The food was outstanding – every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Thank you, Eighty Eight, for making our anniversary so wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

The Bull Inn
Church St, West Tanfield, RiponStaying close by and went here for some food with my family , we had steak and ale pie X4 and a fish and chips drinks pale ale cider cokes £113 , pies were ok not the best I've had but ok , fish and chips my son said was decent. Would go back if in the area again but would try something different.
Canny fella served us .

Fletchers Restaurant
Grantley Hall, RiponWhat an absolutely unbelievable meal and night we had on our anniversary. Whilst it certainly was at the top end of what we could afford, it was without question the best 3 course meal we both have ever had. Noting the puddings were too die for, under any circumstance not to be missed..... On top of that the amazing and attentive staff never stopped in genuinely making sure we were comfortable and happy without being annoying, thank you to the Fletchers team for being so incredible. On the way out of the restaurant the rain was dreadful and as a final gesture of excellence and style, Grantley hall were ferrying people to their cars in a Bentley.... Yes it is a decadent treat for us to go, Will I do it again next year..... 100% and in a heartbeat.
We will probably remember this meal for he rest of out lives.
