We couldn't find anywhere to eat indoors in Thornton-le-Dale on Sunday evening then spotted this tiny chip shop. What a find! I am coeliac and asked for fish without batter. No problem, said the server, I'll poach it for you. Not only that but he also cooked chips in a separate pan for me. The rest of our order was cooked to perfection; very impressive as the guy was working alone and our order wasn't straightforward.
Called in for cod and chips on the way home from a day out, cod was lovely, cooked fresh and to perfection, it was for my dad who loves his fish n chips and he gave them 10/10! Chips were very tasty too and plenty of them! New owner who was very friendly , hope you do very well , will be back when in the area .
