1 Newcomen Terrace, RedcarAbsolutely excellent breakfast and coffee. Very busy but effective service. Both of us are vegetarian and loved the mushroom and halloumi dish. Would recommend booking if going at a weekend maybe, although we snuck in without.

He obviously has pride in his work and cares about the end result which is the food he serves.
The shop is spotlessly clean without a single item out of place
The fish and chips are second to none the batter is light and crispy and a lovely golden colour they also serve a lovely herby filled sausage which is a far cry away from the standard chippy sausage, the fish pattie is delicious also.
The chicken parmersans served here are fantastic they are cooked fresh, very large,
golden cheddar and crispy breadcrumbs with a generous coating of bechamel sauce which is home made, all the ingredients are fresh their is no grease so the parmo is pleasant to eat and not to mention very tasty, a large parmo would probably feed a family, it comes with all the trimmings fresh salad and coleslaw.
Overall it's a 5 star experience and a big thumbs up from all the family.
We will be back.

They had a good choice of Specials on, we had a starter and a main, I had Dim Sum, hubby had prawn toast for starters, beautifully presented. For mains I had creamy coconut sauce, without beans as I don't like them, hubby had sweet and sour with our egg fried rice. The taste was beautiful, a clean taste, staff were helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend Lemongrass.

Ordered last Sunday. 10/10, save yourself the pain of shopping around and just order from here if you are looking for Chinese takeout.
I've moved around a lot in the past 5 years and it's a real struggle to find good Chinese take out. Every individual item has out done anywhere else I had tried. My expectations were low and yet I stumbled upon the best Chinese takeout I've had.
Depicted: Beef & Chicken chow mein, Beef in blackbean, and finally the £16 Special box of which I definitely recommend. Salt and Pepper chicken sounds boring but it's always one of the best items on a menu, + you can sauce it up with your choice of dip.
Final note for my next time, If the owner does read this: Is there a way to order chicken balls separately? I only saw them in the box deal but I'm not sure if they are under a different name elsewhere.

We simply could not fault either the food or the service. My daughter is gluten intolerant, and the staff gave her all the relevant information regarding the meal she ordered. 10 Coatham Rd, RedcarFood arrived really, really quickly. It was absolutely delicious. I asked for no pork in the special fried rice and they made sure this wasn't included. Portion sizes as always, are huge. Would definitely recommend and will order again soon.
Vegetarian options: Most of the menu has tofu or vegetable versions as opposed to the various meats/prawns on offer.
Dietary restrictions: They do tofu options and several vegetable dishes. You can request specific foods be excluded for allergy or intolerance restrictions.

We ordered the Sunday special 6 course for £12.95 pp Absolutely amazing food, each and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed it! The portions were really good size, we actually struggled to finish our meals as you got that much to eat.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, great service.
I would definitely recommend, great value for your money and really good food.

We were SO impressed. Delicious, fresh, meaty fish wrapped up in beautifully crispy batter, and fantastic chips to boot. My fish and chips connoisseur children rated it "brilliant" and it just topped off our day perfectly. Lovely friendly service, too. Highly recommend.

I had the lentil soup which was delicious. The coffee was decaf and they made it not too strong which was perfect. My husband had a pot of tea, a loose leaf tea with strainer, very good value for money. We would definitely recommend this cafe.

The staff immediately greeted us and knew of our reservation. They were very attentive throughout and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks arrived promptly and everything we had was absolutely amazing and delicious ?. Such fabulous presentation and great portion sizes. Just love the rustic plates and cups. Toilets were immaculate too.
We will most definitely be going back to Base. What a cool logo they have too!

The Smugglers Den - Micro Bar Marske
7 Redcar Rd, Marske-by-the-Sea, RedcarWe popped in here for a pint on a very wet Saturday and loved the place. The manager was really friendly and helpful. The building is quirky but not so much that it's not for for purpose and is the sort of place I would love to spend my weekends by a fire drinking with friends. We particularly loved the faux barrel fronts for the cask beers behind the bar.
The location is great with a decent sized free car park a couple of minutes walk away.
Three real ales on, all of which were from three brothers. If I had one minor suggestion it would be to maybe have two Three Brothers on permanently and have a rotating guest ale (because obviously this would suit me more ?).
Overall a thoroughly great experience and one will are looking to repeat, but when I'm not driving, in the very near future. Can't recommend you trying this place enough if you are nearby or passing ... Especially if you love your ale and some quirky surroundings.

The Starting Gate
417 W Dyke Rd, RedcarVisited a couple of times while we were up on holiday in August from Bognor. When we first walked in we both looked at each other and said "What The Hell" as the band was on The Thunderbirds, they were in the middle of signing"Nana, Nana, Nana Batman". We bought a drink and the band were brilliant.
The staff were very friendly and also the customers. They all loved my wife's southern accent and we had a great time.
The band a few days later not so good "David Bowie".
Next time I'm up in North East I'll definitely be calling in.
We didn't eat there, but that's only because I didn't realise they do food. I know for next time.
