Visited The Heifer on Sunday 3 September for lunch after being recommended to us by the reception at our accomodation. We pre booked a table. On arrival we sat on the village green in the beautiful weather and had our drinks which were delivered to us by a friendly waitress. We were then shown to our table indoors and ordered our lunch. Fantastic Sunday lunch with family & our dog. We were made to feel very welcome and service was great throughout the meal. The bar area is welcoming and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. The desserts were delicious. The heifer is definitely a pub we will visit again.
