Fab pub with amazing staff! I had been on the canal boat with my mam and daughter and we were freezing, we had spotted the pub earlier on so nipped in hoping to get a hot drink. The girl behind the bar was so accommodating, they don't normally serve hot drinks as there is another business close by and they won't take their trade (fab attitude) But they were closed so she said I could have a cup of tea - I also believe she could see the desperation of how much I needed the tea!...read full review

I live in ripon and had family down from Scotland so kids teens dogs baby Dog friends with dog treats and space for pushchair and great choice of food something for everyone and have seen they do take away too plus great Sunday dinner price also for take away booking in advance

Only passing as my family and i was on our way to Scotland.A very friendly pub with good food and beer, unfortunately it only does burgers, but the quality of them is ' up there '
