Pre-booked lunch in restaurant area. Bright and airy space, tables well separated. We had mussels and terrine to start, both went for the pheasant for main and far too full for anything else! Beautifully cooked meals, good portion size and nicely presented. House pale ale was also very nice. Service was really good, attentive without being too fussy, and very friendly. We'll be back again soon!
From the warm welcome on entering this welcoming environment to leavingeverythjng was fantastic. A great range of drinks including cask ales was available. Tried the steak and ale pie which was both htaty and full of flavour. Followed this up with an apple tarte tatin and was exceptional. All in all fantastic service from all the team and will be visiting again soon

Visited with a friend, after hearing good things after it reopened. Beautiful pub and setting, what a lovely location. Plenty of parking and it is amazing inside. The food was fantastic, had the steak and ale pie, friend had the fish. Service was also top notch, very professional and attentive. Made it feel like you were in a very posh restaurant! Prices were very reasonable. Completely recommend this place, definitely returning!
