Lovely view of Whitby from our room,Room clean and modern bathroom !Lots of stairs and awkward room to find and unfortunate lift was out of order ; if you are dragging luggage up stairs not good lolI would advise to check lift is working before you arrive especially if you are disabled or like me have sore knees !Ideally positioned for Whitby but bar gets really busy and you can't book a table for meal even if your staying here too ? We went on Goth weekend and didn't expect to find a table but did. The food was normal wetherspoons so we knew what to expect but it came within 10 mins of ordering and was hot and fresh. The tables were cleared and cleaned quickly.

4 of us Went for breakfast on a very busy and wet Sunday morning.First order and drinks went well with a great breakfast, food was hot and tasty. Service after then went down hill rapidly with extremely slow bar staff taking their time to serve the very long queue at the bar.
