Brilliant, delighted to have been here, charming staff, excellent ale and fine ambience.31-01-24 Fantastic Black Sheep Bitter, great staff, and prices excellent (£4.40/pint). Was very quiet, so atmosphere not applicable, but everyone friendly.
Now Then,now this is how a pub should be run ,fantastic landlord that knows how beer should be kept and served, the pub itself is a credit to him lovely decorated with lots of old signage and quirky bits and bobs, we wasn't going to eat as we had only come in for a couple of pints until the table nexted to us was served their food it all looked beautiful so we decided it would be rude not to I'm not going to blow smoke up their bum and bang on how good it was just go and try it...read full review

Great homely pub with friendly staff and good value pub grub. We had the beef sani and standard chip butty which was huge. Just glad the landlord steered me away from the giant chip butty. Well worth a visit but make sure you have cash as they don't accept cards
