McCarthy's Sandwich & Coffee Bar

Best customer service I have experienced anywhere, ever. Lovely staff and amazing food. Had the spicy southern fried chicken panini and it was amazing. Will definitely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible. Seen an elderly lady standing with rollator in the queue waiting for a table to become free. Staff were straight over with a chair for her to wait on. Great staff.

The Barn Bar & Country Kitchen

First time at The Barn, August 2025.
Brilliant food and a great atmosphere, me and my family went on a Friday night, it was busy but not too crowded, and we were met with immediate service, the staff were patient and accomodating to dietary requirements and I definetly felt the extra effort for customer satisfaction that is sometimes lost in established restaurants.
I had the Pork Belly, which was cooked to perfection and on par with some of the pork I've had in Germany. My parents had the steak and honestly said it was some of the best they had had in a long time. Steak night was an excellent deal and everything was reasonably priced. Classic bar food along with some artisan specialities and a great vegetarian range. Great music, not too loud but nice to hear some Bruce Springsteen out and about. Will definetly be returning.

The Artisan Cookhouse

Really nice lunch after a long walk in Castle Ward. Excellent food and service, really good selection of wines and beers. I sat outside as it was a nice sunny day. Beautiful decor inside. Will be back for dinner another time. Thank you.

Brendan's Bar & Restaurant

First time here for myself and my husband. Food was lovely and good sized portions. Friendly staff and didn't feel rushed to finish. Will definitely be back.

The Smuggler's Table

When booking, the person was friendly kind and asked about dietary requirements. We arrived to the large car park, took the wrong door to the pizza area however everyone was so lovely. We had a table reserved in the dining area, it was a mix of stylish and authentic. The bar staff and waiting staff were a credit. Then...the food. Outstanding! Cooked exactly as requested. The right quantities of all ingredients. Attentive and such friendly staff. From start to finish a delight! We will definitely be back!

McMullans Bar

Love curry so had to try Wednesday Curry Night. This was freshly made Curry, lovely smell of spices. You get a choice of 3 curries and pick 2. Served with rice and nan or chapati. Best Curry ever, bursting with flavour. Great beer offer, 4 bottles for £10. Definitely go try, you won't be disappointed

Wrap & Roll

We visited Wrap and Roll, Market St today (20th Jan) and the women who served us was so lovely and chatty. Suited both our needs with two lovely salads and the food was so fresh and lovely. A real gem of a shop to stop for lunch, it suits all needs. Thank you.

The Ann Boal Inn

A wonderful place! Fortunately, the pub has retained the charm of years gone by. The landlord seems a little grumpy at first, but he is a wonderful, warm man.

We were lucky enough to be there on Saturday evening. Live music that couldn't be more authentic. Not a tourist trap, but music for fun and joie de vivre. Everyone is invited to play or sing along.
A very good example that the people make the pub. Rarely have we been so warmly welcomed and included.
Stay exactly as you are and don't change anything.
We'll definitely see each other again.

The Corner Inn

Lovely pub full of lovely people. As a Scotsman who has recently moved to northern ireland, I could not have been made feel anymore welcome by not only Declan and his staff, but also by the good friendly people who drink in this pub. Will undoubtedly be my first choice of pub from now on due to the friendly and welcoming reception I've had every time I've been here.

Denvir's

We went there for dinner. Our waitress, Lauren Rose, was the sweetest and was really helpful regarding my special diet. The food was delicious. We had a great time.

Anchor Bar

My family and I spent 10 days there and this became our local pub. We loved the atmosphere, the people, and the owner John so much. This place was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the hospitality from Texas!!!

Slice Pizzeria

Just picked up 2 Pizzas and a cheesy garlic bread. Best ive had in the area. The family really enjoyed it and well priced. Will be stopping here every Friday when Im heading to the caravan.
