Proper countryside pub with the nicest bar staff. Animals are absolutely welcome, and as are children! Warm, welcoming and relaxed environment. We visited this absolute gem of a pub on 2 occasions during our family trip to Northumberland. Along with our 2 children, we brought along 2 labradoodles and and Irish Wolfhound. We played pool, darts and ate twice. Absolutely faultless and the most wonderful atmosphere. We completely loved it. Thank you so much for your superlative hospitality.
Just stayed for 2 nights here. The staff are so kind and helpful and try their hardest to make your stay so special. It is run by mum and her 2 daughters. They are such lovely people. The breakfast is delicious fresh fruit , yoghurt, cereals and a full english . Dinner wonderful pub grub cooked to perfection.
