Unit 4 Allen Mill Cottages, Allendale Town, HexhamThis was the very BEST coffee we found while vacationing in the UK. The taste of these beans just cannot be beat. Also, the low acidity did not affect my tummy. The owner and staff were absolutely top notch. I highly recommend, especially if you are a true coffee lover. ☕️Parking: Loads of open spaces to park.

The Kings Head
Market Place, B6303, Allendale Town, HexhamProper countryside pub with the nicest bar staff. Animals are absolutely welcome, and as are children! Warm, welcoming and relaxed environment. The open fire is well stoked ready for those days with a chill.Safety: Staff are very conscious of safety matters, there's more than adequate cctv as well as the staff having a zero tolerance for any ill-behaviour.Food & drinks: Sunday dinner is hot, delicious and is lovingly supplied from the local butcher. Thick slices of chicken, beef, or pork, creamy mashed potato, and lovely veg with plenty of rich gravy. After riding the motorcycle around these lovely parts of the Pennines it's exactly what you're looking for! Accompanying a lovely pint of bitter, beer or soft drink it makes for a lovely time. Also, don't forget that fire gently burning away. Desserts also include such delights as Chocolate Laura cake, lemon drizzle with ice-cream or custard, and sticky toffee.
