Great pub, friendly bar staff, football on TV and live music every Sunday. We were sad to miss the quiz on Sunday night. Pub was very busy and full of life as we were there on Sunday afternoon. Also am sad I was very hungover the day I visited so only able to drink appetiser!! Will definitely return ☺
A perfect local, clean, light and comfortable. No food, just drinks, jukebox, pool table, dartboard, and a great manager (Tony Williams known to all as "Moe") who really knows how to look after his guests. Friendly and welcoming to visitors. Regular music (e.g. Hexham Jazz club, monthly buskers night, bands) and a cracking quiz every Sunday night. Big screen with all NUFC matches showing.
