There is new management since the last time we were in but it has made it a better place, a very friendly happy chap, really patient with two children who were in but a the same time talking to the customers, not on the main street but I think it will become very popular, if you visit Hexham it's worth finding. Cracking scran. Tasty, very generous meals. Proper chips means *proper* chips! Quite a "hipster" atmosphere but not in a pretentious way, the staff there were really friendly and went out of their way to fetch water for our dog.

Didn't have any food, so can't score it, but everything that was coming out looked amazing. Drinks were spot on, staff were friendly and helpful. Just moved in about 300 metres away and I think we've found our new local!
