White Swan

Great village pub with a focus on good food. Lovely garden for a sunny day, cosy indoor tables for a rainy one. Not the cheapest, but well worth it. Never had a bad meal here. Family friendly and generally noisy; not the place for a quiet pint.

Tyne Riverside cafe

It is what it is.

I read some of the reviews where folk complained it was a bit outdoor ISH and the floor wasn't very clean, breaking news, it's predominantly walkers, dog walkers and cyclists.

Proper home made on the premises food, coffee was good and it's got a lovely spot right next to the bridge.

Dhillons Fish Inn

I just tried their food for the first time, and I was amazed by their quality and service. All the staff are very respectful and friendly and I just love their food, especially their fish and chips it's mind-blowing.

Miners Lamp Community Cafe and Hub

Best cooked breakfast I've had and unbelievable value as well. Hats off to Russ the chef and the lads helping out in there. Best thing is it's a charitable organisation too.

Gloria Restaurant Prudhoe

Had a lovely family meal this evening. Food freshly cooked to order and delicious, exactly what I wanted. Gloria's excels with the high quality of the dishes and the service is friendly and professional.

The Falcon

Lovely staff, delicious meals The Falcon is near to our home, so we never think of going elsewhere. The seats are well organised to accept dogs in pet friendly areas. Last night Hubbie had the famous pie, full of taste and moist. I opted for The Barron of Beef...Two huge slabs of tender beef, topped with onions, mushrooms and tasty lashings of gravy. This was accompanied with seasonal veg , extra pot of gravy ( or there are other options).

The Halfway House

Service at bar was poor one person serving there was a party on in the lounge I felt sorry for her she was serving at bar and then coming and serving in lounge just one more person would of made a difference lovely pub but this let them down there was a buffet on

First time eating here and not disappointed!
Arrived at car park at around 7pm, plenty of spaces but it is a private pay to park space, you can validate your parking inside the pub however!
There were plenty of tables available and there was a nice overall feel to the place. The menu was a fairly standard pub style selection but they did have specials on too.
The food however wasn't standard and was both well presented and tasty with good sized portions.
Served up by a very friendly and accommodating barman/(manager perhaps) in a timely fashion. He was clearly busy as the only person behind the bar but he paid us good attention throughout our meal.
My wife and I had a starter, main and desert and every course was delicious!
Will certainly eat here again!

Great value food and an excellent choice. Their cocktails are fantastic value and they always have a specials menu which includes cocktails as well as starters and mains

Caffe Ginevra Prudhoe

Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Doesn't feel to cramped inside by trying to get as many tables in as possible.
We had the brie, bacon and chutney toasty which was quite nice with the side salad. Nice small portion for lunch and an ample amount.
We had the hot chocolate, that wasn't great, it tastes more of milk than hot chocolate. Maybe I'm just spoiled as my hubby makes a mean hot chocolate for me every night

Lotus House

The food here is absolutely to die for, the Salt and Chilli box is the single most amazing meal created by Humanity, It would make even the most pompous food critics cry tears of Joy due to spectacular

Had a lovely meal tonight, the Banglar Takari is spiced just right, staff warned that it was spicy when I ordered but it was perfect.Great staff, lovely food, decently priced and a nice atmosphere, what more could you want for a local Indian Restaurant.

Never had a bad experience with this Indian take away. My favourite take away and has been for the past 3 years. Fast delivery service and at an affordable price.

My friend and I visited today. We both had the small portion of Roast Beef which we found more than adequate. Two slices of beef, delicious mash, selection of veg, roasted potato, parsnip and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Small lunch £7.50. Dessert £4.50 Half Shandy £1.90

Five Star Takeaway

First time trying this Chinese after receiving a leaflet menu through the door. We were so impressed! Super delicious food and very reasonably priced. The munchy box is a definite must-try! We will definitely be back ???

New Loon Wah

Absolutely great take away . Great portions. Very friendly. And they deliver. Just as good as restaurant quality. Crispy beef and salt and pepper king prawns delicious.

Never eaten there but they do a mean cappuccino and the tea is pretty good too.

Parking: Loads of space

Wheelchair accessibility: My wife uses a wheel chair and there's only a small sill so very easy to get in on her own if need be.

Balls Restaurant & Tea Room

The perfect menu, not too much choice on the menu, which is great to see. A selection of specials - I’m so annoyed I didn’t try them. But I tried the fish - seems to make good sense. It’s hard to come to a proper fish shop and have anything else.
But some of our party did, I was so jealous when I saw the food come out. It look d delicious.

It’s so clear the Lady who owns the place genuinely ’cares’ about her food, her customers and their service.
Without question, the best around.
I shall be back.

We have never been disappointed with our take away meals. Always cooked perfect and generous with the king prawns. We travel quite a way but always worth it and a lot cheaper than other takeaways that charge extra for the rice to go with a dish..

Tasty’s

I had a Donner Special and it was the best kebab I've ever had. At a tenner, maybe it should be, but no complaints, lovely.Pizza was top notch.The website is clunky. Sometimes going round in circles, but that was on an Android phone, maybe better on a PC if anyone still has one.Also had a very long wait for delivery so half a star off for that.

McDonald's

I get coffee here regularly and sometimes food. The staff have always been good, it was clean and not a long wait. The only issue being the McDonald's app that goes rogue often when you try to order.
