41 Manor Rd, Medomsley, ConsettWe have just recently moved to the area and have been in search of a pub that ticks all of our boxes - found it! One of the nicest Sunday lunches we've had (gravy is a particular favourite of mine), the service and live music was just perfect. We also took our two dogs in and they couldn't have been more accomodating. We will be back soon!

The Royal Oak
The Royal Oak, 7 Manor Rd, Medomsley, ConsettWe decided last minute to call into the Royal Oak after a hard day at work/school. Was a relaxing, warm and welcoming atmosphere that eased everyone from the start.We opted for the starter and main which were all very good quality and as you can see on the photos big portions. We ended up with takeaway boxes that would feed us for another meal!All in all, nothing was a problem for the staff and safe to say we will be calling back again! ?Kid-friendliness: Our two kids were happily entertained by the staff who were more than happy to interact with them. Kids have called it the best restaurant.
