Delaval Tandoori
24 Avenue Rd, Seaton Delaval, Whitley Baytried Devalal Tandoori on two consecutive days. The lamb biryani yesterday and the chicken biryani today were absolutely delicious – rich, authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
However, there were a couple of downsides:
• The vegetable curry was far too oily.
• The chicken biryani was listed at £8.95, but I was charged £9.65 because I asked for it to be spicy. This pricing wasn’t clearly mentioned and felt a bit misleading.
Overall, the food is excellent, but I hope they improve pricing transparency and reduce excess oil in some dishes.

The Hastings Arms
Wheatridge Row, Seaton Delaval, Whitley BayExcellent service from Charlie, very friendly and helpful. Had the Hot Beef sandwich which was recommended by Charlie which was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Rosehill Bank, Wallsend, Newcastle upon TyneHad a Sunday Roast from here for the first time today. Wow, amazing! The dinners are amazing for the price and definitely worth it too! My grandma and daughter split theirs to have a lunch for tomorrow as they had so much (which obviously is a massive positive). They tasted delicious too! Would 100% recommend!

Tiger Spice
Delaval Trading Estate, Seaton Delaval, Whitley BayWe were hesitant to go back to Tiger Spice after a few disappointing meals earlier this year. We heard that it had New owners and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Third meal now from the new owners and all meals have been absolutely delicious. New owners are friendly and accommodating and will certainly recommend them.
