Sunday Lunch at AND WHY NOT was so good. They have got their customer service just perfect.. The sauces such as mint sauce or horseradish comes out before your lunch so that you aren’t waiting for them. Such a good idea! The meat is so tender and all sourced locally.The vegetables were beautifully cooked and presented. Which I love! I will recommend And Why Not to everyone. The manager Clara was so kind and welcoming. She checked everything was ok (which it was)

We had approx 25 guests for afternoon tea and I can promise you you won't get a better experience ANYWHERE for the food and drinks that were served and homemade birthday cake too. Everything is done fresh and to order. We booked this venue approx 6 months ago as we are regulars for normal meals etc and again you would never be disappointed well worth a visit as a couple or any larger gatherings just makesure to book to avoid any disappointment!!!!

? It’s been a year since we moved to Mansfield, and this pub was always on our radar. We finally went for lunch, and it was absolutely worth the wait.

⏳ Walking into an 88 year old pub older than me & my wife’s age combined was an incredible feeling — full of history and charm. The welcoming ambience and beautiful interiors set the perfect tone.

? We enjoyed a couple of refreshing beers along with the ever-delicious Chicken Feast Platter ??. The flavors didn’t just fill our stomachs, they truly filled our hearts. ❤️

? The staff were extremely courteous and always smiling, making the experience even more delightful.

? To top it off, the pub has huge outdoor seating (perfect for summer afternoons), a kids’ play area ??, and ample free parking ? — a big plus for families.

I didn't try the food, as I only popped in for a quick pint. I'm not much of a pub drinker, but this seemed like a nice boozer. Well laid out and the lady who served me was very pleasant. Just what you'd expect from any good barmaid, (if that's not an outdated, sexist term these days ?).
When I visited, the place was very quiet. Admittedly, it was like, 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon, hardly peak hours, but even so, it felt like the place had a nice 'vibe' overall.
This is a nice pub and I intend to visit again. Hopefully, there will be more women in there next time! ?

The Blue Chilli Restaurant is becoming our go to place when visiting Mansfield. The food has always been good and a few times more than enough to take more home. An introduction this evening saw a pork Thai Yellow Curry with Coconut Rice washed down with Mirror Lake Savignon and what a combination. The flavour of the Curry was amazing, not too hot in flavour was perfect for me being a wimp when it comes to spicy food. We didn't need to book but I'd suggest it would be best to book in advance to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is opposite a large carpark so is easily accessible.

I started coming to this cafe in 2018 when I worked across the road in the business park and now in 2024, even though I don't work on the business park anymore I'm still going, both on my lunch break at work and in my free time. This has to be my favourite cafe. Never had a bad meal or experience here. The food, especially the Thursday Lasagna Special, is amazing! Such good value for money and so tasty. So much choice for food, staff are so friendly and accommodating. They have seating, so you can sit and eat in as well as take away. I constantly recommend to all my friends, work colleagues and family and will continue to do so. I will continue to be a regular customer here for many years to come. Thank you to all the staff for everything, they all are incredible.

This place on a wrek end gets so full, you are made to feel welcome, the acts they have on are wonderful and friendly...its an old put with lots of architectural details which I love, the staff are fantastic...always a good night.

Not even sure how you could be disappointed with this place, been home from Colorado and already eaten here 3 times. Each time the ladies/associates have knocked it out of the ballpark. The fish was cooked to perfection, pukka pies (which I dream of in America) and gravy and the twice fried chips are absolutely amazing.
The best thing is the atmosphere..... ladies keep on joking and ribbing the customers, you were/are absolutely brilliant!!!!!
If I could give you 10 gold stars I would!!!!!

Cracking fresh food at a price you can’t beat. I had a club sandwich and the bread was soft as satin, stuffed generously with freshly cooked meat and crisp salad. Owner is friendly and passionate about serving good snap.

Heather is an absolute credit to this Subway store! Sunday at lunch time is my usual time to visit and it’s become this because regularly I’ve been in when Heather hasn’t been working and the service is poor. Always smiling, very polite and talkative. She really does make this store and I’ve often walked out has she not been at work because it seems a chore to other staff to do their job. Please pass this on because she’s stellar to the business!
