Fox & Hounds
Fountain Hill Rd, Walkeringham, DoncasterAs the last surviving pub in Walkeringham, it attracts a good range of people across all ages. What makes this place great is that it ‘DOESN’T’ serve food, which means it concentrates on being a social environment. Great for making new friends, watching the football (only pub within a 8 mile radius to have football on) and also does a great job of having food vendors and music artists on once per fortnight on a Friday.
The landlord and lady, Keli and Rai always make you feel welcome and it’s a safe space for those who want to venture in alone and make new friends. Highly recommended.

Carpenters Arms
Newbigg, Westwoodside, DoncasterLovely place. We didn't eat this time but the Sunday dinner looked and smelled really good. So we will book next time we go. The beer was lovely and freindly helpful staff.

The Waterfront Inn
Canal Ln, DoncasterLate for carvery. Refilled the veg, which was all very nice, but meat was all that was left. Thus, I don't think it could have been cut any thinner.
The couple at the bar were very noisy, obviously locals. But they could have taken it down a notch with people wanting to chat over dinner.
Entertainment at night was well attended but a tad too loud.
