The Crown Inn is situated in the heart of a very pretty area called Benson. It’s easy to get around without a car as the bus routes to Wallingford, Reading and Oxford are easily accessible within walking distance on flat pavements. A local shop and pharmacy is in the same road and a few metres up the road. Friendly welcoming staff. My Room was well decorated but cramped with nowhere to put my suitcase. Excellent shower! The vegetarian breakfast was well cooked apart from the spinage which was incredibly salty and an excessive quantity of boiled potatoes with a hash brown. Overall an enjoyable stay.
