As a pub goes, it typically has a bustling atmosphere and it offers a good range of beers (incl. the local brakespeares') for a reasonable-ish price. Possibly the best proper pub in Henley. Unspoilt inside, well kept beer and popular with locals. Lovely beer garden for summer days and rated highly for Sunday lunch. Slightly tucked away from main street but well worth a visit.
Located on the far side of town this venue is well worth staying at if you’re in the area (bed only). Our room was accessed from the bar (access also via a rear door to the outside) via a narrow flight of stairs with very low ceilings (so mind you head).
