Heard good things on the grapevine, so decided to visit on chance. Pie of the week for me and 6oz steak for Madam. Both very good with quick and friendly service....at a reasonable price. We shall return
What a gem to find. We visited this pub after a lovely walk in the area and we were very pleasantly surprised. The exterior of the pub is gorgeous, with beautiful flowering baskets everywhere and a very well kept garden with plenty of seating. As the pub is off the road, its really peaceful, a great place to sit and relax with a drink and food. We visited with friends and each of us had a different main course. Lovely meal visited on the 6th November at lunchtime. Homemade chips were lovely and burger was one of the best I have had. The other 2 who were with me had gammon and said it was perfect. Would definitely recommend.
