30 High St, Gretton, CorbyWhat a gem of a place. We visited Kirby Hall which doesn't have anywhere for coffee and the lovely gentleman in the ticket shop recommended this cafe. A really good cup of tea and excellent coffee, but the cake..... All home baked and just divine. Real value for money.

The George & Dragon
2 Main St, Seaton, Oakham? We visited The George & Dragon earlier this week as a large group of friends. I just wanted to take a moment to say how incredible this place was. We were met by Joe who made us feel really welcome and kept our drinks topped up all night! We initially sat by a toasty fire ? with a cosy comfortable surround, where we munched our way through some delicious canapés! Later we moved through to the dining room where Chef and owner, Ralph cooked us a phenomenal family-style dining extravaganza, including delicious steak, duck, fish and the best darn crispy, fluffy chips I have ever tasted! Thank you so much to you all for your incredible hospitality, we will DEFINITELY be back!! ?
