Kildrummy Inn, AlfordWe had the most amazing two night stay in the care of David & Sophie at The Kildrummy Inn. Hands down one of the greatest places we've ever stayed: sumptuous rooms, stunningly delicious food, cosy whisky snug and peace and quiet away from it all. The team at Kildrummy couldn't have done more to help or make the trip more pleasant in any way. One of Aberdeenshire's gems, its reputation will only grow and grow.

40 Main St, AlfordI thoroughly enjoyed my meal at the Alford Bistro. A very good selection of food on the menu, served by friendly and efficient staff. I will not hesitate to have a meal here the next time i visit Alford.

128 West St, AlfordHad lunch here today. New owner only opened up this week ( last week of Feb 2026) . We had a sandwich each with coleslaw and salad and a bowl of chips. The wholemeal bread was super fresh with plenty of filling , the salad and coleslaw were freshly chopped and very fresh/crispy and tasty. The pot of tea for 2 gave us 3 cups each.The staff were polite, cheerful and efficient. Definitely worth a try and will be back .

Alford Tandoori Takeaway
Watchmaker's Ln, AlfordWe're Asians who live in Asia and were passing through, trying to find dinner otw north. The lamb basmati was really good and authentic. Highly recommend this place! Also friendly guy.

Cafe On The Cobbles
17 Market Pl, AlfordI've been in the UK a little over 3 years now, and this was honestly the best food I've had here! Every single thing was amazingly flavourful and cooked to perfection! Matt's Mega Box is the perfect option to have a taste of what they have to offer, and the whole rack of ribs was so delicious! Will definitely be frequenting this spot!

Main St, AlfordHad a nice 7 piece breakfast takeaway here. Also got some nice decorated cakes to take home.The staff were very friendly and happy to help, service with a smile.Prices are very reasonable.I'll definitely be back when passing this way again.

B1373 / Woodthorpe Hall, WoodthorpeVery romantic stayed in the oak pods very good very well equipped had bar & restaurant on site but didn’t go but it looked really good , if you have got pets they accommodate animals really well , hot tub was amazing also stayed for 4 nights would really recommend this place. 10/10

Great Wall Chinese restaurant and takeaway
72 Main St, AlfordFood is fantastic. But unless you are a local ( to the business) I would strongly recommend you go & pay as soon as you order ! They definitely wait on payment first . Not that they would admit it.
But the food is fantastic ? 100% every time .

22 West St, AlfordBanging cheesy chips ask for extra flavouring the only thing i say is get it asap or fresh as poss because I don't know wether the chips hang around or they are made to order. My girls had lazy dinner for a Saturday as I was busy and I sneaked a chip as I said banging I was gona have soup for dinner but I ordered cheesy chips plus flavouring and 3strips of chicken so nice . Good job thanks xxx
