The Golden Chip

First timers to the Golden Chip today, and we were not disappointed. Generous portions, excellent quality and good value. The haddock was tremendous!

The Courtyard Coffee Shop

My friend and I pop in when cycling nearby and thoroughly enjoy coffee and luxury scones with cream and jam. Staff are extremely friendly and prices are very reasonable.

The Red Hoose

Absolutely awesome night out at a hidden gem. A wee cracker of a pub. Barmaid was spot on with orders, despite being rushed off her feet she was smiling and chatting away until the end. Landlady made everyone welcome, chatting to regulars and strangers like us alike, made to feel really welcome.Barry - the best guitarist you have never heard of - is a character and a half. Ays every month. Got to see him again.Sign of a great night out: My head can't tell north from south, my mouth tastes like Gandhi's flip-flop, and I'm eating aspirin like smarties. The name caught my eye, first drink today perhaps? No, American football theme/vibe. No cask beers but very nice wine, too many televisions for my liking but locals chatting convivially.Restaurant open tomorrow (wednesday).

Pines Chippy

Last week was my 1st visit to Pine's Chippy and we enjoyed the food that much, I was back this week again for our Friday nyt takeaway. Would thoroughly recommend this chippy and I will be back again soon ?

Popped in for lunch and we left full and happy. The food was lovely and home made. The staff were really friendly and made us very welcome. We will definitely return

Absolutely fantastic. Best Chinese ive had in a long time. Quick delivery and portions were excellent. Shredded crispy chicken Cantonese style was out of this world! Defo be back

Me and my wife are very fussy about food... Very hard to find a decent place to eat...Chilli Hut is perfect place...very hygienic, very polite staff and obviously amazing food and good price ?.

Dil's Takeaway

We often order from here and the food is always wonderful. We love the fish supper and the sausage supper. They also deliver if you live within a certain distance.
