Milk & Honey
High St, DornochFood all looks delicious, only purchased 2 rolls and link sausage which cost £9.80 which I think is pretty expensive for a cafe. I'd say its more restaurant prices and fine if you fancy a treat. Decor is really nice. Dogs aren't allowed inside.

Luigi
1 Castle St, DornochLuigis was recommended to me by 2 work colleagues. 1 of them said, 'Sarah, don't write a bad review.' I don't. I just write truthful reviews.
How could I write a bad review when the service was really quick. They came with a cold bottle of water & 2 glasses to us when we sat down. I thought this was a really nice personal touch. The food was very pleasing to the eye & as you eat with your eyes before tasting the food, it was great, & very tasty. I had the tempura prawn salad & Tonka bean crème brulee with summer berries. The tempura prawns were very delicately cooked, salad had different lettuce leaves chopped up. There was a sweet flavour to the dressing. Creme brulee was lovely soft & creamy with a crispy top. Don't know what the Tonka bean was.
Dad had the lobster thermidor, which he had never had before & it was lovely. Followed by ice-cream.

Cocoa Mountain Dornoch
Castle St, DornochIf you’re a hot chocolate lover, this place is a dream! The hot chocolate here is the creamiest, richest, and most chocolatey I’ve had in ages. Every sip is indulgent, with a velvety smooth texture and a deep, decadent chocolate flavor that’s perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just pure chocolate bliss. It’s the kind of drink that warms your soul and leaves you craving more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the ultimate hot chocolate experience!

Dornoch Castle Whisky Bar & Bistro
Castle St, DornochWe entered intrigued by the beautiful structure and the Italian menu. We wanted to try the pizzas (smoked salmon and spicy salami with honey). Really good with an unusual harmony of flavors. Compliments to the kitchen. Reasonable prices. One of the best pizzas outside of Italy I have ever tasted.

Royal Golf Hotel Dornoch
The First Tee, DornochBooked for a last minute arrival. Friendly welcome. Nice lounge bar and breakfast room. While the bed was comfy with quality bedding, the room was a bit tired and dated in places, with a pricetag that matched a higher quality room. The setting itself is lovely, overlooking the sands and the golf course.

Highland Larder
The Links Beach car park, DornochJust had the Haddock wrap, freshly cooked, which was amazing. Complimented with a hot chocolate which was also fantastic. I have high standards where both are concerned. I have no hesitation in recommending The Highland Larder and will definitely be back.

Highland Spice
BUSINESS RETAIL PARK, DornochTucked away on the edge of Dornoch is this wonderful Indian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food an explosion of spice in your mouth.
With an array of dishes to choose from, there is something for everyone. Hot your thing...got you covered. Maybe spicy? Yip, you covered as well. If you like me and sometimes prefer a very mild dish; they cater for that as well.
Sit in or takeaway your choice.
There is parking directly outside or in the street.
We have had takeaway twice from here now and both times the food was superb.
Once was on a Monday holiday and we called to confirm they were open. They were and the person who answered was polite and helpful.
