Restaurants in Durness

Ozone Cafe
Cape Wrath, Durness, LairgThe most memorable place I visited in Scotland. Coffee, food and service were wonderful. Location is the end of the country and it takes time to get there. This makes it a special place. Unforgettable.

Cheese N Toasted - Smoo Cave
1&2 Caberfeidh, Smoo, DurnessThe best toasted cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Fantastic spot right next to Sango Sands Campsite. Just gutted it couldn't be further away from home and still be on the UK mainland

Cocoa Mountain Balnakeil

Absolutely amazing coffee shop! Cocoa Mountain is a hidden gem — super cozy, incredibly welcoming, and best of all, dog friendly! Our pup was treated like a VIP, which made the experience even better.
The real highlight? The hot chocolate. Easily the best I’ve ever had — rich, smooth, and packed with flavour. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. Opt for the chocolate chaser and you can also try four delightful bespoke chocolates to share.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect stop whether you’re a local or just passing through. Highly recommend for chocolate lovers and dog owners alike!
