Candle Shop & Secret Tea Garden @ Assynt Aromas
Tigh na Bruach, DrumbegWow! Their products are THE BEST!I have used Neals Yard products for over a decade and Assynt Aroma products are better!I am converted and would highly recommend! I bought products for my sister and Mum too, they both absolutely love them.This is a lovely, quaint little stop along the NC500 with good coffee and a great, natural shop using all the goodies of Scotland ?

Flossies beach store
139, ClachtollLovely little shack, a beautiful joint for a snack and some tasty hot chocolates. You can buy hand knitted hats too!Parking: If you sit in and eat you can park right outside (2 spots) although it might be harder to do that during peak season

Delilah's
The Main St, Lochinver, LairgMy partner and I visited Delilah's in March 2024 while on holiday and we had an amazing time! It's hard to think of things that could be improved, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was bustling despite March being slightly out of season and the food was spectacular; we shall certainly be visiting again when we're back in the area!

Peet's Restaurant
Harbourside, Lochinver, LairgWe drove to Peet’s Restaurant on a sunny day to savour their Seafood Chowder in the evening. But unfortunately that was not on the menu. Instead we got the Special for the Day and the Classic Fish and Chips and I was not at all disappointed. The flavours of Special Fish was so unique and refreshing. The Fish and Chips even though a classic in the UK, was very up to the mark, I was craving for it even the next day.It’s a warm sitting atmosphere where you can enjoy with your friends and family. The three ladies at the front of the house provided excellent service.It’s the only place open on a Tuesday evening in that town currently. So make sure you pre-book the table.

Lochinver Larder
Main St, Lochinver, LairgEverywhere in Lochinver was closed and we were wondering where we could get breakfast, saw Lochinver Larder was open on the way out of the village and glad we stopped. Bacon baguettes were yummy and we bought pies to take away for tea.Later heating them........ as per instructions, what a delight, best pies we've ever eaten (apart from my daughters .... of course ?)Will definitely be ordering by post.Vegetarian options: I ordered the cauliflower and broccoli cheese pie, delicious
