The steak and ale pie is absolutely world class at element. The all-butter puff pastry comes out of the oven perfectly cooked with a golden crust. The filling stays piping hot long after it arrives at the table. The service was excellent and there was even live music. It’s a great place for a meal or a lively night out.
Can't praise the Team here highly enough...just brilliant ? ? ? pouring and I mean pouring with rain...popped in to watch England ? game. Lovely friendly, cheerful, chatty staff. Kitchen was mobbed but still sent out good quality burgers. Fantastic atmosphere and ended up watching the Scotland game (less said about that.. ). So well done to the Staff, atmosphere, food, cocktails and day out. Only comment would be to maybe figure out the tv sound system for big screen. Well done...read full review

During my Scotland trip, I was flue and felt quite dizzy. While I was looking for a restaurant which i can eat soup to make myself feel better, I had come across this place. I tried their potato soup and it worked!
