Excellent traditional pub on Edinburgh’s famous Rose Street.It has a beautiful island bar with ample seating and a small lounge towards the back.Beer from the Stewart Brewery was pouring and it was very good. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere was laid back and welcoming.It is part of the Nicholsons group of pubs but seemed less like a chain pub than some others in the group.Would come back again and would recommend.

I was in the other night and I’ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised, the girl I think she was the manager or manageress her name was Sharon or Shannon treated us like old friends never felt so welcome in an establishment I have never been in before, fabulous warm welcome, great selection of alcoholic beverages we were reluctant to leave as we had a prior engagement but will most definitely be back x
