As it was our 57th wedding anniversary we decided to book a table for our anniversary. The top bar is great not to big and not to small plenty locals in for a drink noticed Brian Gardener holding court so didn't disturb him....????. I had a fantastic pint of Belhaven Best?? and a gin & tonic ?? for the wife.
We were shown down to Bruntons restaurant nice and cool and a great cosy space. We ordered our mains I had the deconstructed Pecking Duck with a twist and the wife had the Salmon both dishes were well presented hot and absolutely delicious ? ?. We ordered the Eton Mess ?? dessert ? and it came with a lovely ? puree message Happy Anniversary ? what a fantastic and unforgettable touch. Great value and price point.
So thanks to our waitress who was amazingly, welcoming, friendly, polite and attentive sorry I didn't get your name. And a big shout out to the chef ?? and kitchen staff for an amazing meal. We will be back. And if you're reading this review go and give Bruntons your support. ⭐️?⭐️?⭐️?⭐️?⭐️?

117A Hunterfield Rd, GorebridgeReceived a friendly welcome in this great local bakery when visiting after a trip to the park; broad range of items, well-presented and all delicious-looking. The staff were lovely and patient with my 3-year-old niece who was having trouble deciding what to have; eventually, she got a chocolate crispy cake which was a generous size and she was delighted. The sausage rolls and empire biscuits were excellent and a great size for the price, and the prices are superb value overall.

3 Main St, GorebridgeOrdered pizza delivered, got the Hot N Spicy and a Pepperoni and ham pizza. Was one of the best pizzas we have had! We ordered kebabs the day before takeaway and they were great also. Lovely people that worked there. The delivery was late, but the driver had trouble finding our air bnb which was understandable given it is on a property. Highly recommend this take away!?

116 Hunterfield Rd, GorebridgeOne of three Chinese restaurants in the area, in my opinion it's the best one, BC (before covid) the restaurant was the best place for a meal with a loved one, the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, if you are new to this restaurant I highly recommend the chicken curry and egg fried rice with peas, it is delicious and filling.

11 Main St, GorebridgeAbsolutely love it! Just tried for the first time with my friend who has only had great food and service every single time. As a vegan it’s very difficult ordering a Chinese, but this place actually has some great vegan-friendly options. I had the Mongolian chilli tofu and salt and chilli chips and it’s honestly the best Chinese order I’ve ever had. Great service too, so friendly. 100% recommend!
