37 King St, Inverbervie, MontroseI arrived in Inverbervie alone on new year's eve having just jumped in the van in Edinburgh and driven North with no plan. I arrived at the Queens at about 2pm and about 15 minutes in a local bloke gave me a quid for the jukebox and bought me a pint of Tennents. That was me sucked in for the night. These locals are the most welcoming folks you will ever meet and they were so happy to welcome a random stranger into their new year's frivolity. The bar staff were super friendly. The jukebox is a treat. The drinks are good. Honestly best vibes ever, sometimes it pays to just go where the road takes you and embrace what comes cause you might end up getting the NY of your life in a pub in Inverbervie and 25 new local pals.

Gourdon chinese takeaway
Gourdon Chinese Takeaway, Brae Rd, Gourdon, MontroseBig portions of some of the best Chinese food I've tasted in a while! Very quick to prepare, prices aren't bad either. Advised when I called up that they only take cash, not cards, and luckily that wasn't an issue, but could have been.

Harbour Bar
William St, Gourdon, MontroseMost Sundays Jenny and I frequent the Harbour bar for something of a constant in life. Always ask for a lovely bowl of culinary skink. Very Occasionally someone may of beaten us to the last bowl , ah well lives a lottery at the best of times.Always something else that 's good on the menu to go along with my Guinness and Jennys gingerbread and black current.All plesently given.

16-22 King St, Inverbervie, MontroseThe best pub in town, he talks to us, is friendly, and full of good things that I can't reveal too, I didn't expect to have such a good evening.Best pub in this city, go there you won't regret it, we stayed only one night there but i wish i could spend more time there just for the pub.Thanx you
