This café has an odd welcome: there's a rope asking you to 'wait to be seated' right inside the doorway. This was okay for us two, but a family of five who came in after us were forced to leave the door open as they crammed into the small space - odd... Anyway, our drinks were very good & they had non-dairy milk for my hot chocolate.
We visited as a group of 6 adults and 6 children. The lady gave us a very warm welcome, offering to jig the tables around to accommodate us all. The children's menu is simple but perfect for children. The Carot and Lentil soup was amazing and my two girls polished it off and wanted more. I had the chicken, bacon and mayonnaise toastie, this was beautiful and full of flavour. Everyone in our party commented on how nice their food was.
