3 E High St, LauderWe stopped off for a coffee at this wee cafe / shop, great tasting coffee, never had foods, but it did look nice.
We sat outside in the sun, serving was very good, nice clean toilets and shop, which sold local product from meats to dairy, recommended to stop off, we will now we've found it.

The Black Bull Hotel
13-15 Market Pl, LauderWe ate in the restaurant on multiple occasions during a recent holiday. An excellent experience.
The food was top notch, great presentation, large portions with clever accompaniments and garnish. Made for an above average experience.
The staff were attentive pleasant and very helpful. All one could wish.
Great place. We will stop in again next time we are passing.

21 W High St, LauderStaying at the wooden lodges, which are good, looked for a delivery, they don’t do it, was a bit weary but we drove down to order, was impressed with the service, and the quality of food. Good quality and tasty. The menu on line, is not up to date.

4 W High St, LauderWe were here on a little stop over and the place looked so nice from the outside we decided to venture in for a wee look see.I can honestly say what we found inside didn't disappoint.The lady behind the bar was lovely and friendly as we're the locals and the dogs that also came to say hello.Great place,worth a visit

Carfraemill
Carfraemill, LauderNice location, nice interior and good food. One star off because after the initial welcome and order had gone really well we felt a little forgotten about. Staff seemed to disappear leaving only the person serving at the bar to also manage the tables. We will be back and hopefully this was just a slight misstep on that day. Steak pie is a little dry, could use some more gravy. Other than that the food was spot on for me and my companions.
