Church St, Wanlockhead, BiggarHad a great night here. Ended up deciding to stay the night after the 1st pint of their own brewed stout. Wooden cabins are excellent. Food was good as well. Staff and locals are really friendly.. Wlll be back

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Welcome Break Abington, Junction 13, M74, Abington, BiggarWe stopped here on our drive from the Lake District to Stirling. In the states, we call these Rest Stops, but I love that in the UK, this was a Welcome Break! Makes me smile! We all needed bathrooms and lunch. I ate at Chopstix, which was tasty. My husband got the fish and chips from Harry Ramsden's and we grabbed something from Starbucks as well. The spot was very clean! We even found a 20 pound note on the ground. Lucky!
