Harbourside, Lochinver, LairgWe had dinner at Peet's twice and enjoyed both immensely. Staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to eat at a table outside even though the restaurant was fully booked both times. Food was excellent with good portions and the black haired waitress gave us some laugh out loud moments. Pro Tip: If you plan on eating at Peet's, slather yourself in Smidge (including ears and hairline) and then ask for an outdoor table. The midges will leave you alone and you get to enjoy the beautiful view of the Loch and village while chatting with all the people waiting to be seated inside. Offer those people the use of your Smidge as an ice breaker - works like a charm!

139, ClachtollFlossie’s is a real find among the beautiful beaches — delicious toasties and bacon baps, with a wee shop to stock up on essentials (beers included!). If you’re lucky, you’ll catch some great local banter too. Super tasty, relaxed, and friendly — a wonderful beach shack.

The Main St, Lochinver, LairgEverything was perfect. The service was quick and charming. The food was delicious. We had the peach & burrata salad and the langoustine small plates and then the mushroom pasta and the aubergine. Perfect amount for two. If you are a small eater then two of the small plates would be enough. We were in & out in an hour.

Lochinver Larder
Main St, Lochinver, LairgThe best pie I have ever had.
I chose the Venison and cranberry and it was packed with filling. We took our pies to eat out, so cannot comment on eating in, however it looked very clean.
My wife chose to have her pie warmed and I have to say it made a great pie even better.

An Cala Café
Culag Park, LochinverOur ideal cafe - one where all of our picky children can find something they think they'll enjoy and then finish it off. On this occasion the turkey bap, fish and chips, sausage and chips and cajun chicken burger all went down very well. Reasonably priced and - importantly (and not to be taken for granted in this part of the world) - still open at 6pm. Service was relaxed as was the atmosphere. Perfect after our boat trip with North Coast Sea Tours.
