Shieldaig, StrathcarronVery friendly setting. Nice to hear locals talking to each other. Lovely food - soup was enjoyed by my daughter, toastie by my son and roasted peppers by my wife. I loved the local sea food.
If you are on the NC500, it's well worth a stop.
The views across the bay is stunning also.

Wee Whistle Stop Cafe
Loch Torridon Community Centre, Torridon, AchnasheenSuper staff , super scones, super coffees! What a wee “ beauty” , found by accident! Oh yeah …. The toilets were absolutely immaculate! Well worth the “ stop”!

1887 Restaurant
The Torridon, Annat by, AchnasheenWe came here for Mother's Day breakfast - 10 of us! We sat in the garden room which is 95% covered, initially we all a bit worried as it was a chilly day but the heaters were on, we all had blankets and no one (even the little ones) complained that they were cold.
We had pre-ordered which was a real help and the food was lovely, we all left very full up and satisfied!
The service was amazing, everyone was so cheerful and kind and helpful, they went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone at 1887, we had a really lovely Mother's Day breakfast

Shieldaig, StrathcarronMet with a lovely welcome we book in advance and table was by the window so we could enjoy the view. Food was amazing my daughter had two starters pork the. Followed by crab cakes. My husband and I started with scallops ( these were amazing out of this world) the. He had fish pie filling but tasty and I had the langoustin dish of the day.

Beinn Bar
The Torridon Annat by, AchnasheenMe and my partner stopped off here with our two dogs and were really impressed. The food was absolutely spot on – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff were super friendly and happy to help, which made the experience even better. It’s a lovely, welcoming place with a great atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be going back next time we’re in the area!
