Grandtully, PitlochryA wee surprise overnight stay at The Inn On The Tay for my birthday (08/03). All I can say is my husband didn't disappoint with this beautiful wee gem of an Inn/Restaurant. The booking was made due a valued friends recommendation (Brian L) Loved our room, super king-size bed, clean, fresh, crisp white linen, Arran toiletries, deluxe tea tray 5⭐ Slept with the velux windows open....the sound of The Tay was a lullaby! Breakfast ... delicious, all locally sourced produce 5 ⭐Josie and Geoff, keep up the good work..... you've got a wee gem!! Looking forward to pouring you a pint at The Old Crown if ever you're passing through Penicuik ? already looking forward to our next visit to The Inn On The Tay x

Escape Route Ltd
3 Atholl Rd, PitlochryBought my bike here 4 years ago and received excellent service. Brought in for a service yesterday. Kevin went out of his way to have my bike ready with new parts which were still on the delivery van for me going home as I don't live local. Brilliant service again, can't thank Kevin enough. Lovely cafe next door too, which is no longer part of escape route but the food is great having vegan options.

Service from Catherine and all the other members of staff was really outstanding? Nothing too much bother?
Also food? You never get to see the chef, so Hugh praise for beautifully delivered food from the kitchen and waiting staff?
Only negative, I would play a little background music so that others can chat over dinner, felt a little awkward as we where loud( sorry) haha

The Old Mill Inn
Mill Ln, PitlochryStayed here 2 days ago for the first time. Received a warm welcome on a cold wintry wet day place was warm and staff friendly and smartly dressed. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bar area was comfortable and relaxing. Had a meal which was tasty piping hot good sized portion and nicely presented although I felt menu was a bit pricey. Breakfast cooked to order was tasty. Service was excellent. What was evident that all staff could undertake all tasks whereby we did not have to wait any length of time to be served regardless of how busy it was.. had most enjoyable stay would highly recommend.

Fern Cottage Restaurant
Ferry Rd, PitlochryWhat a great experience. Starting with being warmly greeted at the door. The menu options made it hard to decide which dish to try. I had the salmon with leek cream sauce over a bed of green vegetables that were perfectly prepared. My husband had the linguine pasta with chicken that was very tasty. To finish off the meal we enjoyed one of the best tiramisu desserts I've ever had, and I have tried a lot in various countries. The best meal we had in Pitlochry!

Victoria's Restaurant
45 Atholl Rd, Pitlochry4.5 stars here. After some deep research of the options in Pitlochry, we chose Victoria's for its menu variety-Scottish, Italian, Latin, etc. We were not disappointed. There is a nice flower rimmed patio here that would have been our preference but alas Scottish weather did not cooperate. Interior basic tables and chairs. Attentive service much appreciated. A number of Scottish cuisine dishes caught my eye while perusing the menu. We picked Garlic Bread to start, mainly due to the fact that across the board we have enjoyed amazing breads while in Scotland. Though it could have had more garlic flavor, the bread was delicious. My DW was not overly hungry so she chose the Beetroot and Goat Cheese salad. This was pronounced delicious and mention was made of the mild, not too robust, flavor of the cheese. Scottish lamb-Roast Rump of Perthshire Lamb-was my choice. Served with ratatouille & dauphinoise potatoes, both of which I felt were truly outstanding. The potatoes especially were an excellent compliment to the lamb. I was pleasantly surprised how the flavor of the lamb was much less "gamey" than most of my past experiences. The unctuous flavor was eye opening and the red wine jus added deep flavor to the dish. Loved it. We skipped dessert here for the ice cream shop down the street. If you visit Pitlochry, be advised that the tourist busses can flood the town day and evening so if you want to visit Victoria's, best to make a reservation. Highly recommended.

Exceptional and cheery service, a wide variety of tea's that I guarantee you will not find anywhere else & a great list of food options - some with combo deals attached that are very well priced! We will be back again and definitely recommending to anyone that will listen!

Grandtully, PitlochryObviously the chocolate was amazing expensive but amazing the drinks where also amazing highly recommend the mocha its also reasonably priced the decor and atmospher was beyond cool you can really tell they put alot of effort into everything the best part though was the staff some of the nicest people ive ever met if i had to choose 1 shop to go to before i died(hypothetically) this would be it it's 10 mins off the main road if you are travelling do not make the mistake of missing this place

I made a stop yesterday in this little town and wanted a good coffee with a cake, most were closing at 4pm but Cafe Calluna was still open until 5pm so i went there and it totally met my expectations.Lovely place,amazing cakes and top quality cappuccino. Old Military Road, 1 General Wade's Military Rd, Ballinluig, PitlochryWe had breakfast here before taking part in one of the activities. We both had the full breakfast and it was 10/10. The most flavourful breakfast I’ve had in a while and the coffee was really good too. We sat outside which lacked a bit of atmosphere being what looked like an old garden centre and sparsely decorated/furnished but the food really made up for it! (I opted for no beans but my partner said they were really tasty)

131 Atholl Rd, PitlochryGreat little shop. And very sweet ladies. The whiskey ice cream was very unique but the flavor wasn’t for me. Chose to go with soft serve strawberry banana combo. Delicious. The ladies indulged my indecision and even were kind enough to spare to bowls when I asked if they could. Thanks very much. Highly recommended.

Atholl Palace Hotel
Perth Rd, PitlochryWhere to start!? We were booked into this hotel for one night as a birthday treat and due to nostalgic purposes. A relative had worked in the hotel nearly 50 years ago and had wonderful memories of the area. We were delighted to find it holds it's charm still. The signs to the hotel are well placed and easy to follow, the carpark was easy enough to navigate. The views from the carpark stunning even in the mist and fog. Just added to the majesty of the hotel. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and kind in helping us book a table for that evening in their restaurant. We found our room to be above and beyond. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom immaculate. Our biggest issue was the coffee machine didn't work with one coffee pod, but that was honestly the worst part of the stay so I think we were averaging okay. The restaurant was beautiful and well staffed while the staff appeared a little busy and forgot one of our desserts they apologized profusely and immediately returned with the correct dessert. Top tier effort all round. I was even given a little gift of Highlander Chocolate for my birthday. Made an already special visit a highlight of our trip. After our meal we went to the bar and had a glass of their Atholl Palace Distillery whisky and the other drink was also from their distillery but Gin. Excellent drinks. Thank you to the staff on all levels of the hotel for helping us make more memories.

10 of us stopped in here for lunch yesterday and they couldn’t be any more helpful and accommodating.
Very friendly and attentive staff
our kids got to use the pool table which they loved.
Food is amazing and portions are very generous
This was our first time visiting but certainly won’t be our last

48 Atholl Rd, PitlochryWe ordered some food while we were on holiday, and they were so delicious and the person who took the order, was very nice and understood how we wanted them because we changed some stuff as we preferred them little spicy.
We ordered chow mein house special, Singapore house special and fried squid with salt and pepper.
To be honest for it was the best Singapore noodle I had so far ☺️
And the prices were very reasonable and we actually did make few orders after the first day.
I would recommend this place 100% .

8 W Moulin Rd, PitlochryI went here when I was passing by in 2016. I live west of Glasgow and this is the best chippy I've ever had! Never tasted anything so good before or since! My wife and I were driving to Thurso and we made sure to stop in a second time on our way back home.

138 Atholl Rd, PitlochryLovely place - well worth a visit. Always great service and great food. Dining in is nice, clean and something different as we'd normally just do a take away for fish and chips. They've got seats outside too, and when it's warm enough they open the whole front of the dining area and it's really nice. You can also get drinks as they're part of the bar / hotel next door.
For balance... A little more expensive than a normal chippy. And the toilets are in their hotel next door.

Scotlands Spa Hotel
38 - 40 Bonnethill Rd, PitlochryDon't be put off by a weirdly low Google review score . I was gifted a voucher to stay here and came with no awareness of the hotel or it's reviews. It's absolutely a perfect hotel for a short stay and it's nicely refurbished across the hotel and rooms. Nice and bright reception bar area, friendly staff and a nice welcome. The room we had was a double, cosy and modern decor. Bathroom was very big again refurbished with nice bright modern tiling etc. Really impressed and a comfortable quiet sleep. Smart TV and Nespresso coffee machine.
Hotel is very well placed in pitlochry, gorgeous little place to visit. Hotel was a pleasure to visit really good staff and we will return.
