A HIDDEN GEM!
Been going to Cafe Rhu for a number of years now and have always enjoyed it. The place may be petite, but it's bright, airy and spotless. On better weather days, there are also a number of tables available for alfresco dining.
The friendly staff always engage with a bit of good banter and, let's not forget the food. It is extremely tasty. On my last visit, I had the hot steak sandwich, which came served on ciabatta bread. The steak was perfectly cooked and accompanied by triple cooked chips and homemade coleslaw. All of it was delicious. I then followed this with the best apple pie I've ever tasted. The coffee is good too.
I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food.
