Popped in for a pub lunch after work on a Friday (although been here many times). A very satisfying steak pie and a couple of nice pints. Friendly bar staff and a cracking playlist. They also have live music 6 nights a week, and a quiz on Sunday. What more do you need?
I was recently reminded of our visits to Scotland. We live in the U.S. and have been to Scotland several times. One of our favorite places. My wife's paternal grandmother was a Menzies, and we have visited the Menzies castle. We have been to Stirling twice, the last time about six years ago. After stopping the first time, we put Nicky Tams on our list of places we wanted to go to. If/when we return to Scotland, Nicky Tams again will be on my list. Exc Traditional Stirling Pub n Sky Sports on so it's a great pub for conversation and meeting visitors to Stirling and handy for Fantastic Italian Resteraunt just down the street we always go to Nicky Tams when we travel thru from Alloa for a day night out 10/10
