Excellent! I had a special dish which was dedicated to King's coronation-chicken balmoral with whiskey sauce,potatoes and veggies. It wass absolutely delicious! I couldn't resist and afterwards, I had a coffe and a chocolate cake-not sure about the name. Again fantastic! Being 6 years in Scotland, this was the best meal I had so far here! Loved it!
Perfect place to stop for excellent food while visiting the castle. They have all kinds of options including vegan, vegetarian, etc. We had the macaroni and cheese and the carrot and lentil soup - the best! Best place to stop when at the castle.

Had a quick lunch here while touring Stirling Castle. Self-serve line moved quickly and the food (salad for my wife, soup for me) was quite good. Tables needed cleaning, but one was quickly made ready by one of the staff. We enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch in decent setting and were able to continue the tour quickly. I don't know if there are other lunch choices here, but this one was certainly what we wanted.
